  • Disciplinary Process Overview

    Alt Tag

The Texas Medical Board (TMB) receives about 6,000 complaints a year. Of these, about 2,800 are opened for investigation, and those investigations result in 350-400 disciplinary actions ranging from public reprimands, administrative penalties, education, restrictions, to licensure suspension or revocation. If you find yourself the subject of a TMB investigation, you need to understand how your responses and actions throughout the process will affect you now and in the future.
