Are you interested in being more of a leader within organized medicine? In your professional life? Want to improve your negotiating skills or become more assertive?
The Texas Medical Association is here to guide you.
TMA is now accepting applications for the TMA Leadership College Class of 2019. The deadline to apply is June 8.
The TMA Leadership College — established in 2010 as part of TMA’s effort to ensure strong and sustainable physician leadership within organized medicine — is designed for active TMA members younger than 40, or in their first eight years of practice.
Does that sound like you?
Consisting of three in-person sessions, the curriculum covers interpersonal skills, negotiation and assertion techniques, conflict management, legislative advocacy, media training, and much more. Scholars earn accredited continuing medical education (CME) as part of the program.
Visit the TMA Leadership College webpage for full program details, a class schedule, and application.
