If you’re shopping for an electronic health record (EHR), the Texas Medical Association’s updated EHR Comparison Tool is the place to start investigating options.
This members-only benefit helps physicians identify product features, functionality, and pricing that will best suit their practice.
To create the tool, TMA invited EHR vendors with a strong presence in Texas to provide information about their products. TMA organized the self-reported information into:
- In-depth, individual EHR vendor profiles with cost breakdown and specialty lists;
- A side-by-side product comparison of key functions and costs; and
- Detailed, side-by-side price comparisons based on practice size.
In a TMA 2020 physician survey, a third of physician respondents reported being dissatisfied with their EHR, with a majority of those physicians saying it lacked functions they needed.
Explore available product features on TMA’s EHR Comparison tool page. Then turn to the TMA Electronic Health Records page for guidance on shopping wisely, evaluating vendors, and more.
