The Texas Medical Association (TMA) House of Delegates, the organization’s policymaking body, has elected Keller physician Gregory M. Fuller, MD, as the association’s secretary/treasurer. The physician leaders held elections Saturday during TexMed, TMA’s annual conference, held in Fort Worth this year.
“I’m honored to be elected as TMA’s secretary/treasurer, and to serve on the Board of Trustees,” Dr. Fuller said. “I appreciate the vote of confidence from my fellow physicians and look forward to serving them.”
Dr. Fuller just completed his term chairing the association’s Council on Socioeconomics. It is one of several leadership roles he’s held throughout his 32 years of TMA membership, including as chair of the Council on Health Care Quality, and as a member of the Subcommittee on Quality Programs and Clinical Measures; Task Force on Health Care Coverage; Value-Based Initiatives Workgroup; and Texas Delegation to the American Medical Association.
He also served as president of the Tarrant County Medical Society and chaired its Board of Trustees.
The family physician is medical director for Catalyst Health Group, and he serves on the North Texas Regional Operating Committee for the independent primary-care physicians group.
Dr. Fuller received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Baptist Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo., in family medicine. He has been married to wife Alice for 35 years and is the proud father of two adult children, Blake and Lauren.
