The TMA International Medical Graduate (IMG) Outstanding Physician Award was implemented in 2019 to recognize a TMA-IMG member physician who has provided outstanding volunteer service, outside of their practice, to the medical community for which they live and/or work.
The following criteria are required in order to qualify for this award:
- The physician nominee must be a TMA member;
- The physician nominee must be a graduate of an international medical school;
- Volunteer service must have taken place during the calendar year prior to the application deadline; and
- Volunteer service must demonstrate a passion for the community in which the physician lives and/or works, outside of their professional practice.
Nominate an IMG physician for the Outstanding Physician Award by Feb. 15.
