- Immunization Collaboration of Tarrant County – Tarrant County Medical Society Alliance Foundation – Legacy Grant: $2,500 to get infant- and teen-recommended vaccine rates back to safe levels through low-cost vaccines in schools and at back-to-school events, with year-round vaccine education and advocacy.

- Hospital Elder Life Program – UT Southwestern TMA Medical Student Chapter: $2,500 to fund a volunteer program aimed at reducing rates of delirium in hospitalized elderly patients through cognitive orientation, communication, and social support.
Each year, the TMA Foundation invites proposals from TMA members, county medical societies, and county alliance chapters to apply for a grant of up to $7,500 through its Medical Community Grant program; up to $2,500 in the Legacy Grants category for programs that have received three or more years of consecutive funding for the same program; and up to $3,000 from its Medical Student Community Leadership Grants Program. TMA county medical societies and county alliance and medical student chapters are eligible to apply.
Applications for the 2022-23 Medical Community and Medical Student Community Leadership grants will open in mid-April. Applications must be made through TMA Foundation’s online grant portal.
