Seventeen Potter-Randall County Medical Society physicians gathered on Saturday, April 20, to network with other women physicians in Amarillo. “This was a wonderful way to meet other women physicians in our local county medical society,” organizer, Nicole Lopez, MD, said. “We have not had a WPS in many years, and this event provided a great opportunity to meet some of the outstanding female physicians in Amarillo. Attendees represented many different specialties in medicine … and ranged from resident to retired physicians.”

May Owen Burnet Lampasas Llano

Physicians from Burnet, Llano, and Lampasas counties gathered for the first women physicians’ event in over 15 years. The evening featured a cooking demonstration by local VIP chef Ginger Sprouse. Attendees appreciated the chance to connect faces with familiar names and voices and enjoyed the meaningful space to strengthen professional relationships.

May Owen 2025 Burnet Lampasas Llano

Physicians from the Burnet-Llano-Lampasas County Medical Society came together for the second annual TMA/CMS event at a woman-owned local business, where a sommelier led an interactive wine tasting class. The BLLCMS was thrilled to welcome two first-time attendees and looks forward to the next May Owen grant gathering. As one of our smaller CMS groups, participants value these opportunities to connect and build relationships with local physicians.
